Tolerance
If you are under 21 the laws are very strict. If you have a BA level of over a .05 you are guilty of a criminal offense (compared to .08 for adults). The consequences for license suspensions are even stricter.
You will lose your license for 1 year, through the DMV, if your blood alcohol is over a .01. This is equivalent to to less than one 12 oz. can of beer or one “shot” of whiskey.
