UNDER-21 VIOLATION PENALTIES
§ 23502. Under-21 First Violation Penalties.
(a) If you are between 18 and 21 and are convicted of driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content of .05 or greater, you can be ordered to attend a DUI program at your cost, in addition to whatever other penalties are assessed.
(b) If you are convicted for under-21 DUI, your driver’s license will be suspended by the DMV and you will be required to surrender your license to the court.
